Lomilomi  incorporates long, free-flowing strokes using the forearms, elbows, alternating thumbs, hands and sometimes special pohaku (stones),  in a continuous, fluid and rhythmic motion.

Lomilomi is an ancient Hawaiian healing art practiced for hundreds of years by master practitioners (kahuna) and elders (kupuna).

The Hawaiian word lomilomi means “pa" (touch), "ha" (breath), "kahi" rub and press, "Opa" squeeze, crush, mash fine, knead, "Oki Oki" (hacking and chopping softly), "Lomi" massage, to work in and out, as claws of a contented cat."

Through Lomilomi, stress and tension are relieved, blood and lymph flow assisted and the elimination of wastes and toxins stimulated.

Your Healing Experience

Lomilomi may be the most powerful and profound healing you have ever experienced.

Components of this healing practice may include intention, breath “ha”, psychological cleansing and visualization, and movement of energy.

Lomilomi may be for only those individuals truly committed to healing all areas of their lives. Lomilomi is not just a physical experience; it also facilitates healing on the mental, emotional and spiritual levels.

I found Ms. Day to be highly-skilled in full-body deep tissue work and she greatly assisted me in a detoxification and weight loss program according to the ancient Polynesian protocols of medicinal plant-based healing.
